Dr. Richard Walker gave me a thorough eye exam and took the time to answer questions about various issues I’ve been experiencing. He recommended two different sets of glasses which he believes will correct my issue. So happy not to have the ‘puff of air’ that has been part of every eye appointment I’ve had for as long as I can remember! Everyone in the office is so friendly and very efficient. I got good suggestions from Michelle in selecting the right frames for my face and lenses which will serve multiple purposes. I’m excited to start wearing them! Michelle was very patient and didn’t rush me even though I was the last patient of the day. This was a very positive experience for me and I highly recommend Dr. Walker and Randolph Eyecare Center.

Dr Walker is the best. I had surgery with another doctor and he was away. Dr walker was in surgery and returned to the office just to see me…HE IS THE BEST! Lisa the Assistant is also very caring and wonderful.

Excellent service, great eye exam and follow up. Ordered my glasses there, got them in a week, optician was fantastic. When I had “fuzzy” vision at distance in one eye I was reexamined, given an updated Rx and had one lens replaced…..all at no charge!!! Just outstanding!!

As a type 1 diabetic my vision is always at risk of diabetic disease so the selection of an eye doctor is more important for me than for most. I discovered Dr. Walker about 3 years ago when my old eye doctor moved out of the area. He is competent and capable, and leaves me with no concerns whatsoever. He is also an eye surgeon so if you need any more invasive treatment now or in the future, he can do it. The office staff is friendly and competent. The appointments I have had have all been reasonably on time. Billing through my multiple insurers was done quickly and correctly, and they only ask that you pay up front the part of the cost your insurance does not cover. Their prices for eye exams are also very reasonable.

They have an eyeglass store in the front, with a large selection of frames and such to choose from. The eyeglass prices are competitive. No, they won’t be the same price as a big box store, but you won’t end up with big box low quality lenses that are made overseas. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about these folks, they are a great find!

Staff is totally professional, insurance claims are handled quickly and easily. No upselling on glasses or unnecessary testing. You are always informed if a recommended test or prescription is not usually covered by insurers, so there are no surprises. I highly recommend Randolph Eyecare.

Want to share my recent experience with Randolph Eyecare. I was having an issue with my left eye that came on suddenly…shimmering and waving lights with floaters….it was going on for about 30 minutes when at 6:15 pm I called the office…..(they close at 7)…I was told to come right in. Long story short, I was there until 7:30. Dr Alessi did an in depth exam to make sure that I did not have a torn or detached retina. It turned out to be an “ocular migraine”. Had never heard of this. No matter, the Dr, the techs and the front desk staff could not have been nicer, did not rush me through, even though I am sure they would have loved to have gone home at 7. I am grateful to them all for their kindness and caring. When I moved to Randolph a couple years ago, I could not have made a better choice for my eye care!

We were nicely surprised with the attention and care I received at Randolph Eye Care from Dr. Richard Walker. I have high myopia, astigmatism, lazy eye and other eye medical problems. Dr. Walker was patient and took the time to answer my questions and offered to get back with us about another issue with my presbyopia. The staff were courteous and added me to the schedule very quickly. I highly recommend Randolph Eye care and especially Dr. R. Walker.
